The Buschenschank is located in the barn of an ancient traditional West Styrian farmhouse. First mentioned in a document in 1754, it is still owned by the Hackl vlg. Oswald family. The farm was the scene of the peasant uprising under Emperor Franz Joseph in 1860, and the premises have been faithfully preserved since that time.

In addition to the old building, which was originally built from stone, the entire courtyard also offers an idyllic guest garden.
