The farm is run as a full-time family business. The family's income is secured by pig farming, arable farming, special elderberry cultivation and direct marketing of Styrian pumpkin seed oil and beetle beans. The mild climate of southern western Styria is excellently suited for the Styrian oil pumpkin. Pumpkin cultivation and the marketing of pumpkin seed oil have become an important and successful branch of our farm. The farm is located in southern western Styria between Eibiswald and Schwanberg in the municipality of Wies and is easily accessible from the B76 from Steyeregg or Kalkgrub.
