Bad Sauerbrunn” is the name given to the fountain from which the water of the Archduke Johann Spring flows. The spring water in the Sauerbrunngraben was already known for its therapeutic effects in ancient times!

After the village Marhof a municipal road leads along the Stainzbach, past some houses, from there it is still about 500m to the gravel parking lot of Bad Sauerbrunn. A lovingly maintained small park with the Kneipp basin of medicinal water located in close proximity to Stainzbach.

Even the Romans Bad Sauerbrunn was known. The Naturkohlensäureschwefelbad has a healing effect on rheumatic and circulatory diseases. Drinking and bathing water (1: 1 dilute) is flowing for free removal!
