Our fine distillery
In winter, when it is quiet in our vineyards, we devote ourselves to our fine brandies made from plums, Kriecherl, pears, different varieties of apples or quinces, our cigar brandy or, more recently, our Styrian gin. The many awards that our brandies have already won and which we are very pleased about show that we are just as good at this as producing high-quality wine.
SCHAUBRENNEREI
"Distilling schnapps is more exciting than any thriller," enthuses our junior boss Bernhard Malli. With the construction of our new Malli show distillery, which is currently underway, you will have the opportunity to experience the distilling process up close.
Distillation will take place in this new building on a daily basis. The modern architecture blends harmoniously into the steep slope and you will be able to watch and hear the hot mash bubbling. From a safe distance and through large peepholes, of course. On the distilling days in winter, there are of course also delicacies to eat here.
