In the middle of the southwest Styrian hill country, 40 km from Graz in the health resort Bad Gams, the Sakya Tsechen Changchub Ling was opened by the Venerable Khenchen Sherab Gyaltsen Amipa Rinpoche on October 13, 2002.

The listed former "Baderhaus" and the former "Weberei Brabeck" , as well as an enchanting garden, are since then, after long renovation work, open to visitors and Buddhists from all over the world.

In addition to Buddhist events, the house is also a place for the promotion of intercultural exchange.
