At home with Petra & Oliver
A ’guesthouse’ is something more than a hotel or bed and breakfast. Here you are truly a guest in our home. Petra, Oliver and Frank (an adopted Dachshund) live under the same roof allowing a more intimate level of service. We can always be found pottering around the gardens, sprucing up the house or creating something tasty in the kitchen.
An integral part of your stay and our vision is, of course, the food. No continental breakfast buffets at ‘the old school’! Here breakfast is celebrated as an ever-changing, multi-course feast freshly prepared by Oliver in the open kitchen.
The opportunity to enjoy a three-course evening meal with hors d’oeuvres, homemade bread and wine accompaniment is available to pre-book on Wednesdays and Saturdays for 110€.
During the summer months a small, daily snack menu is offered in the early afternoon so you needn’t go hungry whilst relaxing by the pool.
A light picnic to take with you as you explore the stunning wine country of southern Styria is available with 48 hours’ notice.
