The Ratscher Landhaus stands for pure enjoyment on the South Styrian Wine Road. Whether in the almost year-round open (from the end of February to Christmas) hotel with wine garden restaurant, wine bar, café, lounge & wellness area – Michaela and Andreas Muster passionately bring their guests the feeling of life in southern Styria with great attention to detail.
Perfectly located on the oldest and probably most famous wine road in the region, the house is both a starting point for visits to surrounding wineries and taverns as well as a retreat for moments of absolute peace and relaxation.
For every season
The Ratscher Landhaus is closely connected to nature and thus also to the seasons, which is reflected in our offerings. In spring, we focus heavily on activity and liveliness. In summer, we celebrate it as together time – from babies to grandmothers, everyone is warmly welcomed. In autumn, on the other hand, the focus is on abundance and enjoyment. And in winter, the focus is on relaxation. Our adults-only time, where we consciously create space for retreat and relaxation.

Wellness
For us, wellness means more than just wellness. It means well-being and expresses a "state of being" in which nothing is missing and one feels completely well. Because it’s about not having to do or be anything, but simply to be. To be in the moment. To be in nature. To be happy!
Whether with a jump into the year-round heated infinity pool with breathtaking views or our natural pool, which harmoniously hugs the landscape and guarantees real "sea" value. Two saunas and an infrared cabin promise a deeply relaxing break from everyday life, while massage rooms and a Well-Fit water massage bed offer all the possibilities to do something good for your body. Hammocks on the covered sauna terrace invite you to let your body and soul dangle. On generous 500 m2, the wellness area at Ratscher Landhaus captures the lightness of being. Additionally, there are about 1000 m2 of outdoor wellness with plenty of space to relax and cuddle. This is well-being at Ratscher Landhaus.

The hammocks on the balconies of the panorama rooms not only bring positive vibes but also invite you to let your soul dangle. The large windows blur the boundaries between inside and outside and bring the vineyards, the nature into your own vacation realm.

This is what you call culinary security! Because almost around the clock you will be taken care of. In the morning with a hearty breakfast from the rich buffet, at lunchtime, the afternoon menu offers fine warm dishes (including fried chicken) for hunger in between. For those with a sweet tooth, there are ice cream creations and homemade pastries in the lounge and on weekends in the café with a sun terrace. The wonderful evening menu featuring 4 courses tempts the taste buds from 6:00 PM, and if you need a snack with your gin and tonic at the wine bar, beef tartare, regional cheese, and ham are ready!

As a self-proclaimed "wine enthusiast," Andreas Muster is a hunter and gatherer when it comes to wine – the fully stocked cellar is living proof of his many successful forays. A selection of more than 600 wines frames the South Styria vacation in perfection.
