In the midst of the southern Styrian vineyards, with a view of the greenery and a deep appreciation for the authentic, lies CASA FIRMENICH in Eckberg near Gamlitz – which, alongside the Buschenschank, also houses a small, fine boutique hotel. The historic estate was once the childhood home of Uli Firmenich. Today, it welcomes guests with Mediterranean ease, familial warmth, and the feeling of having arrived. The rooms are minimalistic and stylishly designed – using natural materials, warm colors, and plenty of light.
And a balcony with a magnificent view. Every detail tells of our connection to the region and our love for hospitality. A retreat with character. Not a place for loud distractions, but for quiet quality. And the best part: The in-house Buschenschank is just a few steps away.

Arrival/Departure
The payment for the rooms can be made by debit card or in cash. On the day of your arrival, your room will typically be available from 2:30 PM. On the day of your departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10:30 AM.

Children’s Rates
Apply when there are 2 adults in the room.
Children up to 3 years stay free of charge. A cot or extra bed is available on request for a one-time fee of €10.00.
Children aged 4–10 in an extra bed in the parents’ room: €35.00 per night.
Children aged 11–15 in an extra bed in the parents’ room: €50.00 per night.
Breakfast
To ensure you start your day well, a generous breakfast is available from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.
When the weather is nice, you are welcome to enjoy breakfast in the garden; otherwise, it is served indoors.
We offer products from local farmers (eggs, meat and sausage specialties, cheese, yogurt), as well as homemade spreads, jams, juices, cakes, and much more.

Our rooms are furnished with natural materials and decorated in bright, welcoming colors.
Each room includes a shower/WC, cosmetic mirror, hair dryer, satellite TV, coffee machine, and minibar.
All double rooms feature a balcony.
Free Wi-Fi is available.
No pets allowed.
