Bioweingut Bleyweis
Information
The Bleyweis winery is originally one of the oldest wineries in the municipality of Kitzeck im Sausal in southern Styria, the highest wine-growing village in Europe. The name Bleyweis is a so-called vulgo name or house name of the winery, which has existed for many years. To explain: these house names exist partly for centuries, the owners change, the house name remains. Now the estate is owned by the Reboly family, which after a long "Sleeping Beauty" has reawakened it with much love and enthusiasm. All family members were involved and were able to restore the estate largely to its original state. It was built in the Biedermeier period and, after several alterations, was last built in the so-called Archduke Johann style. In 2012, the neighboring estate, vulgo "Grofen" was purchased. Here, new winery facilities, vacation apartments and event rooms were created.
