The path that Peter Rosegger chose when he wanted to get from Alpl to Krieglach was the Waldheimatweg. Follow in Rosegger's footsteps and discover the ‘Kaufvertragsplatz’ from the novel ‘Jakob der Letzte’ at the Postmühle, in which the poet wrote about the death of farmers in our region.
The hike starts at Roseggerpark in the centre of Krieglach. The trail leads along Erzherzog-Johann-Straße to Grazer Straße and then via the cemetery and the Gölkkapelle chapel into the Freßnitzgraben to the Alpl.
