Coming from Mariazell through Gußwerk in the direction of Seeberg, but in Wegscheid turn right, drive through Aschbach and then along some hairpin bends to Niederalpl Passhöhe.
We start our ski tour at the Niederalpl Passhöhe, here we can also park.
From the pass summit we ascend along the marked summer trail in a southeasterly direction below the Sohlenkogel to the Sohlenalm. From the Sohlenalm we now go up to the northwest ridge and directly along the ridge or below the ridge to the summit.
Descent:
Over the northern gullies of the Kleiner Wildkamm or through sparse larch forest down towards the slope and lift of the ski area "Geheimtipp Niederalpl". Also worthwhile is a descent from the Sohlenkogel over various beats or high forest towards the slopes.
Stop after the tour at the Gasthof Plodererhof, directly at the parking lot.
Possibility of overnight stay also at the Plodererhof or at the Holzbox
