The Stainach circuit is a flat, fast route with plenty of open spaces, views of meadows and the Grimming as a constant companion. It runs mostly on asphalt near the Enns and is ideal for brisk walkers, joggers or an active break.

- Coming from Schladming: Turn right before the bridge overpass at Trautenfels Castle and take the first exit at the traffic circle towards Irdning. Follow this road, which leads over a railroad crossing and over the Ennsbrücke bridge. Turn left at the village sign and park at the large parking lot of the Irdning recreational facility/sports field.
- Coming from Liezen: Turn right before the bridge overpass at Trautenfels Castle and take the 3rd exit at the traffic circle towards Irdning. Follow this road, which leads over a railroad crossing and over the Enns bridge. Turn left at the village sign and park at the large parking lot of the Irdning recreational facility/sports field.
This 7.8 km run around Stainach offers wonderful views, wide meadow landscapes and the Grimming always in view in around an hour - ideal for anyone who wants to combine exercise and panoramic views.
From Irdning, you run in a northerly direction to Stainach. Shortly after the underpass, turn left at the small crossroads, with the train station on your right. Here you follow the path briefly along the railroad line towards Mooswiesen - always with a direct view of the Grimming.
At the Mooswiesen meadows, keep left again, get closer to the Enns again and follow the path towards Trautenfels. From there, the quiet side road takes you back to Irdning.
From Irdning, you run in a northerly direction to Stainach. Shortly after the underpass, turn left at the small crossroads, with the train station on your right. Here you follow the path briefly along the railroad line towards Mooswiesen - always with a direct view of the Grimming.
At the Mooswiesen meadows, keep left again, get closer to the Enns again and follow the path towards Trautenfels. From there, the quiet side road takes you back to Irdning.
Take the train to “Stainach-Irdning” and enter the running circuit directly at the rear exit of the station.
