The Walchental is a southern side valley at the level of Öblarn and is known for mining.
The Walchen valley is a southern side valley at the height of Öblarn and is known for mining in the Walchen, where mainly copper ore was mined. Afterwards, the valley opens up to two charming alpine valleys, the Englitz and Ramer valleys. The Gasthaus zum Bergkreuz is the starting point for beautiful hikes.
