Stangl Alm

The Stangl Alm is located at 1,300 m above sea level in the Gumpental Valley and is 7 km away by car from Ruperting (exit from the Gumpenberg federal highway). For hikers: On foot, it takes just one hour from the Höflehner Nature and Wellness Hotel, along a trail suitable for strollers, to reach the Stangl Alm, located at the head of the valley. Our tip: continue to Moaralmsee (1.5 hours). A more challenging hike is from Hauser Kaibling (2,015 m) via Moaralmsee (1,824 m) into the Gumpental Valley, with the Höchstein (2,543 m) as its landmark. Walking time: approximately 3.5 hours, including a cable car ride to the Hauser Kaibling Valley. For mountain bikers: Our beautifully situated alpine pasture is located at the head of the Gumpental Valley. After the downhill hike on the Kaibling and Gumpental loop into the Gumpental valley, you'll reach us after 600 meters down the valley.
