Music club St. Martin am Grimming

The music club St. Martin currently consists of 52 active members, who meet on average 1-2 times a week to make music together! We accompany weddings, funerals, and various other church celebrations, as well as festive events of other clubs, playing various summer concerts and morning events. To ensure this, a lot of rehearsals are necessary, which is something our chairman Ewald Danklmayer places great importance on. The musical highlight each year is our spring concert in April, for which our conductor Reinhard Freidl challenges each of us musically, so that we can present great pieces! For such a large club to exist, we rely on the support of the community and our municipality to secure instruments, musician costumes, and other maintenance!
An especially important component for the MV is the cohesion - whether large or small, young or less young - making music together and shared experiences connect us and provide a wonderful time together, which is why we do not refer to the hours we dedicate to the club as 'work', but rather as 'joy in making music'.
