Contrasts merge into a harmonious whole: down-to-earth and cosmopolitan, quirky yet stylish. Whether the Styrian harmonica meets Klezmer clarinet, tuba clashes with funky guitar riffs, or everything gets spiced up with hearty lyrics in the Ausseer dialect, the musical experiments of the five musicians Philipp Egglmeier, Ernst Gottschmann, Michael Weisl, Jürgen Fleischhacker, and Michael Dumfart deviate far from standard and commercial mainstream. The band combines spontaneity, creativity, and playfulness, giving their interpretations a very special ausgfuXten touch.
