The Monks of Shaolin Kung Fu - Shami's Journey to Shaolin

When the mysterious Shaolin Monastery in the heart of China celebrated its 1,500th anniversary 30 years ago, the monks decided to make their incredible exercises and skills accessible to a wider audience for the first time.
Under the guidance of Austrian show producer Herbert Fechter, they condensed their combat exercises and knowledge of the human body into a form that was understandable to Western audiences: a show format entitled “The Mystical Powers of the Shaolin Kung Fu Monks,” which went on to conquer the world. Over the past 30 years, Shaolin has become a world-famous brand and the monks' performances have become a crowd-puller, attracting more than 5 million people to theaters and arenas in over 5,000 performances on 5 continents.
This evening, the Shaolin Kung Fu monks will be performing their program “Shamis Weg nach Shaolin” (Shamis' Way to Shaolin) at the congress Schladming. A unique opportunity to marvel at their incredible exercises and skills.
