When three musicians have been on stage together for decades, a magic is created that cannot be learned – it just happens. David Raven (drums, vocals), Taras Prodaniuk (bass, vocals), and Billy Watts (guitar, vocals) have known each other since their youth and played with Tower of Power singer Hubert Tubbs in the 1980s – the starting signal for an impressive career.
Since then, the three Californians have toured as studio and live musicians with legends like Keith Richards, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones, and Eric Burdon, earning the reputation of one of the best rhythm groups in Los Angeles. Their songs regularly appear in series such as Sons of Anarchy, Parks and Recreation, and Mayans.
With their own mix of rock, blues, soul, and Southern humor – in short: "Swamp Rock" – the Mojo Monkeys bring pure energy to every stage. Their shows are a fireworks display of groove, joy of playing, and American laid-back style.
After their acclaimed Europe tour in 2023 and the current album Mojo Fo, they will finally return to Europe in 2025 – and also to the Ennstal region. Anyone who loves honest, handmade music that reaches heart, soul, and dancing legs alike should not miss this concert.
