Deep Purple legend Ian Paice is coming to Öblarn with Purpendicular for the only concert in Austria. An extraordinary rock evening right in the Schladming-Dachstein region. 

On Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 7:30 PM, Ian Paice, founding member and drum icon of Deep Purple, will perform with the internationally composed band Purpendicular at ÖHA – Öblarner Haus für Alle. The formation has long evolved from a tribute project into a standalone rock band and is touring through Europe with a top-notch lineup, including Nick Fyffe (ex-Jamiroquai) and Murray Gould (projects with Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa, Elton John).

Classic hits from Deep Purple and Whitesnake as well as new songs from the upcoming studio album are on the program.

Special feature: This guest appearance is the only concert in Austria of the tour, a rare concert date for rock fans, music enthusiasts, and culture lovers.
