Rough, mystical, and honest – Rauhnacht has been captivating audiences for over 25 years with their distinctive dialect sound.
The music project “Rauhnacht” has been around for more than 25 years.
Having gained recognition during the “Alpinrock Era” of the 90s, the band carved out its own niche in the folk X-Over music scene alongside groups like Hubert von Goisern, Broadlahn, and Haindling (D).
Initially more rock/funk oriented, there was a slight restructuring in 2009.
The band reformed. Electric guitar, accordion, and drums gave way to acoustic guitars, violins, and percussion!
The foundation for the “new” Rauhnacht was laid. Since 2009, the band has played with the same lineup. Concert tours have taken the quintet from Salzkammergut to China, where they left a lasting impression with their wild musical mixture.
