With IN THE DANCE HALL, the Paganin String Quartet embarks on a journey into the early swing and pop world of Europe, unearthing long-forgotten gems of German-speaking jazz music from the early 20th century.
The wild Berlin of the interwar period and the Austrian operettas serve as inspiration to breathe new life into this still unique repertoire and bring it into the present.
In a typical acoustic Hot Club formation à la Django Reinhardt, the most beautiful pop melodies shine in a new guise.
