Austrian singer Chris Steger, with his distinctive voice in the Salzburg dialect, began playing guitar at the age of eight and took part in competitions for young talent such as “The Voice Kids,” “Kiddy Contest,” and “Falco goes School” at an early age.
His debut single “Zefix” immediately achieved 4.5 million YouTube views and 3.5 million streams on Spotify and was No. 1 in the iTunes and radio charts as well as in the Spotify playlist “Viral 50 Austria.”
In 2021, Chris Steger won the Austrian Music Award (Amadeus) in the Song of the Year category. He is currently working on his next songs in the studio and will release them throughout the year until his next album comes out in January 2026.
