The Bergretter Fan-Day: Your exclusive behind-the-scenes look at rescue heroes and TV stars!

5th Bergretter Fan Day – June 12, 2026 in Ramsau am Dachstein

On Friday, June 12, 2026, the 5th Bergretter Fan Day will take place in Ramsau am Dachstein. Experience fascinating insights into the work of the Ramsau Mountain Rescue team and the ÖAMTC Air Rescue C14 – including a spectacular rescue demonstration in the morning. In the afternoon, the actors of the TV series “Die Bergretter” will welcome fans in the large festival tent.

The breathtaking mountain scenery of the Schladming-Dachstein region, the original filming location of the popular TV series, provides the perfect backdrop for a day full of action, emotions, and unforgettable moments. Traditional Austrian cuisine, a souvenir shop, and plenty of photo opportunities ensure a fantastic atmosphere.

  • Prohibited items: Drones, radios, laser pointers, and other dangerous or bulky items are not allowed and must be handed in at the entrance if necessary.

  • Dogs: Not permitted at the event.

  • Noise level: The helicopter may cause increased noise.

  • Food & drinks: Not included in the ticket price but available on-site.

Questions & Answers

What do I need for admission to the event?
You will receive your ticket by email after purchasing it online.
If you purchased multiple tickets, you will receive one email per ticket.
Please show the QR code at the entrance. You will then receive a wristband that allows you to leave and re-enter the venue at any time.

Are parking spaces available on-site?
A limited number of parking spaces is available within walking distance of the venue.
However, we recommend using public buses (Line 960), which arrive three times between 08:00 and 10:00.
Please exit at the stop “Ramsau Ort.”

Where is the event taking place?
The morning programme takes place at the Skisprungschanze Ramsau.

From midday onward, the programme continues in the festival tent next to the Dachstein Event Centre.

How far is the walk between the two locations?
The distance between the event venue and the festival tent (open from 11:30) is approx. 500 metres on a well-maintained, flat path.

What is the ground surface like?
In the morning you’ll be on a flat meadow at the Skisprungschanze.
In the afternoon the festival tent is set up on an asphalted parking area.

I am a wheelchair user – what can I expect?
Morning: flat meadow
Afternoon: asphalted ground
Accessible toilets are available at the Dachstein Event Centre (approx. 500 m away) and directly next to the festival tent.

May I bring a backpack and drinks?
You may bring a small backpack and one drink.
Please note: glass bottles are not permitted. Umbrellas, drones, and bulky items are also prohibited and must be handed in if necessary.

Are food and drinks included in the ticket price?
No, they are not included. Catering is available on-site.

Can I pay for souvenirs, food, or drinks by card?
No. As the event takes place outdoors, cash payment only is possible.

Am I allowed to take photos during the event?
Yes! You may take photos of all programme highlights and of the actors.
There will also be a dedicated opportunity to take a photo with the actors.
Important: Drones are strictly prohibited due to helicopter operations.

May I bring my dog?
No, dogs are not allowed at the event.
The helicopter will be landing and taking off several times, and pets are also not permitted inside the festival tent.
With your wristband, you may leave the venue at any time to check on your dog.

Will the event take place in bad weather?
Yes, the event will take place in all weather conditions – there is no bad weather, only the wrong clothing!
The rescue demonstration can take place even in rain.
However, in case of strong wind or heavy rain, the morning schedule may be adjusted.

Will the guided hike “On the Trail of the Bergretter” take place?
Absolutely! Sepp will guide the hike from the Bergretter headquarters to Hof Emilie on Friday at 10:00 as usual.
For all Fan Day participants, an additional complimentary tour will be offered.
