Our Hotel Matschner is centrally located and ideal for families, hiking enthusiasts, sports lovers, and those seeking relaxation. We want to pamper you during your vacation with all the rules of Styrian hospitality!
You can reach the ski bus to the Ski amadé ski area and the hiking bus directly from the house. The magnificent hiking area of the Ramsauer Alm region at the foot of the Dachstein southern walls is only a 5-minute drive away. You can reach Schladming by bus or car in just 10 minutes.
The various double rooms, deluxe rooms, and family rooms at Hotel Matschner offer options for all needs. All our rooms feature wooden flooring and are furnished with wooden furniture. The rooms come with a large sun balcony or a balcony that offers a breathtaking view of the Dachstein massif. Our guests can naturally use the Wi-Fi for free.
Start your vacation day with a hearty breakfast. In the afternoon, enjoy the cozy atmosphere on the sunny terrace in summer while pampering yourself with a cup of coffee and delicious homemade pastries. In the evening, we surprise you with our large salad and appetizer buffet, as well as a 4-course menu. We place great emphasis on fresh and regional ingredients. Of course, there is also a special menu for vegetarians every day.
Underground, we are connected to the Dachsteinbad (changed opening hours on holidays), which features a sports pool, children's pool, a huge sauna area, and a fully equipped gym. Pure relaxation after extensive hikes, bike tours, and cross-country skiing tours.
The hotel also offers two seminar rooms for 30 - 40 people, equipped with the latest technology.
During your summer vacation, you will find hikes or bike tours to the most beautiful places and excursion destinations in the Schladming-Dachstein region. Let yourself be enchanted in winter by the beautifully groomed cross-country ski trails right outside the door, and explore the snowy winter landscape on snowshoe hikes.
