A warm "Greetings" from Pension Grundnerhof at Birnberg near Haus im Ennstal. Our family-run establishment impresses with its prime location on one of the most beautiful sun plateaus in the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region. Our pension is only an 8-minute drive from Haus im Ennstal, Schladming, and Ramsau, making it your ideal starting point for unforgettable hikes and ski days. Surrounded by the imposing mountain world of the Schladminger Tauern and the Dachstein, you can enjoy the peace and coziness of our family pension after a varied day.
Our comfortable and spacious non-smoking rooms (between 25 and 32 m²) are all equipped with shower and toilet (partially separated), flat-screen TV, cozy seating area, and free Wi-Fi. We have put a lot of thought into the decor and chosen wood as the most important building material. What you will enjoy the most, however, is the balcony or terrace, which each room features, offering a wonderful view of the Schladminger Tauern and the Dachstein.
We especially love to pamper our guests culinarily. The rich breakfast, which is still personally served at Grundnerhof, leaves nothing to be desired. Our Vital Corner provides healthy nutrition with homemade yogurt, various types of muesli, fresh cheese, fruit, and juices, as well as our tasty farmer's bread. After an eventful ski or hiking day, you can strengthen yourself with a 3-course evening menu, and upon request, we also offer vegetarian dishes or diet cuisine. The menu always features a typical dish from the region. It should also be mentioned that we are always mindful to process many products from our own farm.
Vacationing on a farm with us means plenty of space for your children. In summer, our youngest guests can romp on the in-house playground or visit the numerous animals in the barn – they always enjoy some petting. In winter, there is ample space for snowball fights, snowman building, and frolicking in the winter forest.
In summer, sunbathers can enjoy our large sunbathing lawn and the sun terrace in front of the house. We are happy to provide comfortable loungers. Additionally, numerous walking and hiking trails as well as mountain biking routes are easily accessible in no time. With the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card, which is included in your accommodation price, you have free access to over 100 top leisure facilities in the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region!
In winter, ski enthusiasts are in the right place with us. The Hauser Kaibling, the eastern first entrance to the Schladminger 4-Mountain Ski Circuit, is reachable within a few minutes' drive from our pension. Lovers of nature can take extensive walks through the snowy winter landscape or enjoy a fun horse-drawn sleigh ride. For cross-country skiing enthusiasts, the Nordic center Ramsau am Dachstein is only a 10-minute drive from Grundnerhof.
