In the heart of West Styria, the Salzstiegl ski area offers everything for an active winter day: 12 kilometers of slopes on 40 hectares, six drag lifts, and guaranteed snow. Sporting highlights such as mogul runs and jumps make the area particularly diverse.

Right at the valley station, the Schneeschule Klinger offers suitable courses for children and adults. The Skischule Ruderes also provides professional private lessons. Those arriving without their own equipment can conveniently rent skis and snowboards on-site.

For tobogganing fun, there is a 2-kilometer long illuminated track with a toboggan taxi – or sporty on foot. Even those exploring with snowshoes or touring skis can discover quiet winter landscapes and impressive panoramic views here. The Alpengasthaus Moasterhaus, located directly on the slope, pampers guests with regional cuisine and a rustic atmosphere, perfect for a cozy break.
