Restaurant Rudolf

The Rudolf stands for experiential gastronomy at the gates of Eggenberg Castle. Since the late 1990s, the venue has combined a restaurant, brewery, bar, and event spaces under one roof, providing a meeting point for families, day-trippers, and groups. The kitchen focuses on traditional, seasonal dishes with a Styrian accent. During the week, there is a daily special with salad at lunchtime, and on weekends, à la carte is served. Popular choices include crispy spare ribs and Styrian delicacies, accompanied by coffee and ice cream specialties for a sweet break.

The offerings include the house beer, freshly tapped as Zwickl or Märzen. An extensive wine list and selected spirits complete the visit. Those who want to enjoy outside can find seating on the summer terrace and in the shady beer garden. A wine arbor creates an atmosphere, while the children's play area makes Rudolf family-friendly as well. For parties and celebrations, several rooms are available, from the Green Salon on the upper floor to the Juchee for cultural events.
