In the historic cellar courtyard in the heart of Graz, the Italian way of life has found a charming home. Where centuries-old vaults provide cool air and atmosphere, Franco Mario Zucca serves specialties from his homeland, with much experience, intuition, and appreciation for good ingredients. Having worked in the gastronomy sector for almost 40 years, with stops by Lake Garda, in Selva di Val Gardena, and in Milan, he settled in Graz and has led the establishment for many years with an authentic approach to Italian cuisine.
On the table are antipasti, homemade pasta variations, and dishes with a seasonal focus. Fish and meat are on the menu along with selected specialties that change with the seasons. Accompanying the menu are Sardinian wines, and for a delightful conclusion, traditional desserts like tiramisu or profiteroles ensure a successful end.
A piece of Italy that fits wonderfully into the already southern-flavored Graz in the midst of the historic old town.
