Traditional establishments like s'Reindl are becoming rare. For over 25 years, the restaurant in Graz-Puntigam has stood for down-to-earth tavern culture with a contemporary approach. Inside, guests are welcomed by a classic tavern room featuring lots of wood and warm colors, accommodating up to 80 people.
In nice weather, two outdoor areas are available: a shady arbor with thick vine coverage and an adjacent sunny beer garden. Both offer ample space and a quiet atmosphere. Right next to it is a small playground with a slide, swing, and seesaw – easily visible and particularly family-friendly.
Culinary-wise, s'Reindl focuses on Austrian classics, complemented by vegetarian alternatives. At the center: solid craftsmanship and fresh ingredients. The house specialty, the "s'Reindl," features sautéed pork with mushrooms and spaetzle served in a cast-iron skillet, topped with savory cheese. Pair it with a cold beer or a glass of Styrian wine. The desserts also have tradition; the warm apple strudel with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce is a tried-and-true classic.
