Frohnleiten Sports and Leisure Park
Frohnleiten
Action, cooling off & family fun at the Frohnleiten Sports and Leisure Park!
In the heart of the Graz Region, the Frohnleiten sports and leisure park impresses with a colorful mix of action-packed activities and relaxing moments.
When the temperatures drop, leisure activities move into the ice rink with an area of 60 × 30 m: public skating, ice hockey training, curling, and pirouette strolls are possible here. The hall, equipped with its own photovoltaic system, stands for sustainability and sportsmanship alike.
In the summer, a spacious adventure pool beckons with 1 135 m² of water surface and 12 000 m² of sunbathing area. Three stainless steel adult pools (one with a 25 m swimming lane & a 5 m diving board), a 550 m² adventure pool with slides, a current channel, and a waterfall, as well as a 135 m² children's pool with slides and sun sails invite for play, splashing fun, and relaxation. Parents can enjoy shaded areas, comfortable sun loungers, parasols, and a generous playground. Extra bonus: one-time admission is free with the Styria Card, and for children with the Two & More family pass, it's even free of charge.
In addition, beach volleyball courts, bocce, badminton, soccer, and basketball fields offer plenty of space for sporting competitions. An adjacent skate park with ramps and obstacles challenges talents or invites for relaxed cruising.
The facility of the municipality of Frohnleiten KG is well thought out, barrier-free, and family-friendly. 400 free parking spaces, team discounts for school classes or clubs, and an inviting sun terrace with a restaurant ensure an uncomplicated leisure experience.
Whether as a day trip with children, a meeting point for sporty friends, or for winter training – the sports and leisure park offers versatile opportunities for movement all year round. With the S-Bahn connection towards Graz, it is also conveniently accessible by train.
