CoSA, the Center of Science Activities, transforms the museum visit into an interactive adventure. As part of the Universalmuseum Joanneum, this place combines modern learning, playful exploration, and technology-sensitive communication at over 13 stations in the Joanneum quarter. Recommended for ages twelve and up, visitors experience topics such as energy and technology up close, from building their own vehicle to the exciting escape game "Exit the Mine".
A special highlight is the interactive methods such as storytelling, augmented reality, and gamification, which convey complex content in an illustrative and exciting way. Knowledge becomes experienceable through active participation, and touching is expressly permitted.
Additionally, experiences like the FLiP module, the Science Show, or special escape games expand the offerings. The open design, modern technology, and interactive stations foster curiosity and creative thinking.
The center offers a variety of ways to discover science and technology in new ways and to explore independently.
