After a hike, you can really recharge with typical hut dishes and homemade pastries - this is what the Bernsteinhütte is known for. Fresh bread, as well as butter, cheese, and bacon made in-house, make every hiker's heart beat faster.

This hut is reachable only on foot. From Hansbauer, it takes about 45 minutes to hike to the Bernsteinhütte, from Hirschegg approximately 2 hours, and from the Knödelhütte it takes about 30 minutes.

But the effort is worth it! The newly built wooden alpine hut invites you to indulge after a strenuous activity with its special atmosphere. Almost everything from the kitchen comes from the Gösler family's own production, whether it's a hearty snack or homemade sweets.

After you've recharged, you can try your luck on a unique wooden bowling alley - a special experience!
