During the Advent season, Graz's city center showcases its most festive side. Lights shine everywhere, the streets sparkle, and beautifully designed selfie spots invite memorable photos in the heart of the Graz Region.

In Herrengasse, moving light displays tell tales of the landmarks of the Styrian capital. Especially popular are the illuminated clock tower at the Iron Gate and the inscription "Love Graz" in the main square. Both quickly became real crowd favorites, perfect for a quick Advent selfie.

If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, you can see an artistic snowman and a life-sized nativity scene in the courtyard of the theological seminary (daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM). A visit to Franziskanerplatz is also worthwhile: the glowing message here is "You are light."
