Verdi’s “Rigoletto” returns to Oper Graz – gripping drama across multiple dates.
Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto is a powerful opera about power, love, and tragedy. Directed by Ute M. Engelhardt and conducted by Vassilis Christopoulos, this production explores the tension between outward appearances and inner turmoil.
Performances take place on multiple dates at Oper Graz:
November 15, 20, 26, December 5, 7 (6:00–8:30 PM), 10, 12, and 17, 2025 – with additional shows in early 2026.
Sung in Italian with German surtitles, the opera invites audiences to look beyond the surface—and into the shadows circling center stage.
