Laßnitzhöher New Year's Concert

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, the Kursaal of the market town of Laßnitzhöhe will once again be filled with music, laughter, and New Year's joy. The popular Laßnitzhöhe New Year's Concert has long become a staple in the cultural calendar.

On stage: the Graz Salon Orchestra under the direction of Klaus Eberle. An ensemble that delights with energy, skill, and a touch of humor. Together with around 15 musicians, they create a soundscape that ranges from operetta to classical salon pieces to rock tones. The shining highlights of the singing will be provided by soprano Birgitta Wetzl and tenor Domen Fajnik, both with international stage experience and a palpable joy for music.

But surprises are also part of the concert – the orchestra loves to charmingly subvert expectations. The Kursaal offers the perfect ambiance for this: personal, atmospheric, and right in the center of the town. The concert is an invitation to begin the new year together and with ease. 

The event brings together people from the region and guests from near and far. This New Year's greeting in the Graz Region connects them, music, encounters, and a hint of New Year magic.

Tickets are available online. Doors open at 10:00 AM, and seating is unreserved.
