“The Egerländer Musikanten – the Original” will celebrate their 70th anniversary in 2026 – among other events on February 1, 2026, in Graz, at the Congress Graz. On their grand anniversary tour, they not only bring decades of musical history but also a new musical director. Alexander Wurz leads the Egerländer tradition into the future with a fresh sound and his own signature. And even though the “Original Egerländer Musikanten” continually reinvent themselves - the orchestra stands like hardly any other for lived musical continuity, craftsmanship precision, and brass music at the highest level.
