Traditionally, the Styrian Junker has its grand kickoff on the Wednesday before Martinmas, which is celebrated with the presentation of the Junker on November 4th at the Graz fair.

Under the motto ‘The Junker is here!’, the Junker winegrowers present the new wine at the Graz Exhibition Centre.
The festival centred around wine, Gamsbart & Steirerhut has established itself as a traditional festival and is a firm fixture in the event calendar - an annual MUST for connoisseurs of youthful, fresh wines. The entrance fee includes a tasting of Junker wines, water and bread. The Steirischer Junker is the harbinger of the new vintage, which is tasted and drunk with excitement and pleasure every year. The original among the young wines impresses with its YOUTHFUL-FRESH flavours.
