Guided hike: Kaiserwald

This guided tour takes us from the train station initially along beautiful forest paths towards Tobelbad. Continuing past the village, we head further through the forest to Dobl with its historic transmission facility. From here, we hike back to Premstätten in a wide arc through the Kaiserwald.

Meeting point: 09:00 AM at Premstätten-Tobelbad train station

Trail length: 14 km | Ascent 100 m | Walking time approx. 4:00 hours

Duration of the hike until around 2:00 PM, followed by a planned stop in Premstätten, return by train or bus individually. 

Arrival by public transport: with S-Bahn Graz – Premstätten-Tobelbad, return individually from Premstätten

Difficulty level: Hike without special requirements, stamina for about 14 kilometers and approx. 4 hours of walking required

Equipment: Good footwear (hiking shoes) required, hiking clothing (layering principle), backpack, possibly trekking poles, drink, snacks, no stops during the hike

Costs: € 15.00 per person, payable on-site to the guide

The guided hike is conducted by the Graz Region Tourism Association in cooperation with the hiking guides. Please note that short-term changes may occur. Participation is at your own risk.
For safety and organizational reasons, bringing dogs is not allowed!
