Guided hike: From Modriach to the Aiblwirt
Nature enjoyment at Reinischkogel: Guided hike with a destination at the cozy Aiblwirt.
The Reinischkogel is shared by the experience regions of Graz and Southern Styria – and is always a worthwhile hiking destination.
The hike leads from Modriach over meadows and through a lot of forest, sometimes uphill, sometimes downhill, past Hoiswirt to Schrogentörl. Over the Reinischkogel with beautiful panoramic views, you then go past the imposing Randlofen to Aiblwirt.
Meeting Point: 08:15 AM, Köflach Train Station
Trail Length: 12 km | Ascent 520 hm | Walking time approx. 4:30 hours
Duration of the hike until approx. 2:00 PM, followed by a planned stop at the Aiblwirt, with collective return transfer by shared taxi to Köflach Train Station (included)
Travel by Public Transport: with S-Bahn Graz - Köflach, transfer by shared taxi to Modriach (included), return transfer from Aiblwirt to Köflach Train Station (included), return trip from Köflach individually
Difficulty Level: Mountain hiking without special requirements, stamina for approx. 4.5 hours and 500 meters of ascent required
Equipment: Good hiking/mountain shoes required, hiking clothing (layering principle), backpack, rain and sun protection, possibly hiking sticks, drink, snack, planned stop during hike
Cost: € 15.00 per person, payable on-site to the guide

The guided hike is conducted by the Graz Region Tourism Association in collaboration with the hiking guides. Please note that last-minute changes may occur. Participation is at your own risk.
For safety and organizational reasons, bringing dogs is not allowed!
