Devil's violin meeting

At the Teufelsgeiger meeting, music connects with creativity, at Babenberghof Anni Wirtin in Graz. On February 10, 2026, Teufelsgeiger, viola, or self-built instruments will gather. Accordion players are also warmly welcomed. The participation fee is € 8.00, and registration is not necessary.

Experienced musicians will be present: Ernst Fritz (BlizzFrizz), Michael Reiter (Admonter Stiftsbradler), and Daniel Fuchsberger (Hönigtaler Soatnreißer). They will accompany and inspire as unusual instruments and imaginative performances come to life. The search is on for the violinist with the most original performance and instrument – the “Geigateifl” is waiting to be discovered.

The meeting thrives on spontaneity and openness. The atmosphere remains friendly and inclusive. Music connects people, ideas, and craftsmanship, entirely without formal requirements. Those who want to participate should bring their instrument, pay the fee on-site, and come by. The start is at 2:00 PM.
