ABBA – the pop phenomenon
50 years ago in April, the worldwide triumph of ABBA began in Brighton at the European Song Contest. Since the winning title "Waterloo," ABBA has delighted audiences worldwide and transformed the landscape of global pop music. The rest is history. Following Waterloo, there were song standards that are still valid today, such as I do, I do, I do, S.O.S, Mamma Mia, Money, Money, Money, Dancing Queen, and Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, along with nearly 400 million records and albums sold.

This year’s ABBA GOLD – the concert show tour through Germany and Europe carries the motto title Surprise. Specifically, this means: ABBA GOLD surprises the audience with unexpected musical and choreographic gimmicks during the concert. They are meant to and will ensure that memories are awakened and highly emotional ABBA live moments of the past resurface for the audience. Thus, the title Surprise is not only a promise but also an invitation to celebrate. The audience should be surprised and at the same time embark on a journey of rediscovery. Therefore, “ABBA GOLD – The Concert Show” 2025/26 will personally become an artistically impressive revival of the unforgettable originals and their incredible stage presence for each individual.
