Behind the walls of the 16th century, the Kai 36 Hotel & Café Bar combines art, design, and the vibrant atmosphere of Graz. More than 150 works characterize the house, with around 50 pieces displayed in the café bar, including works by Esther Stocker and Harding Meyer.
The building is intricately designed and continually offers new perspectives. Guests can choose from terrace rooms, maisonette rooms, courtyard rooms, or the standalone pool house high above the rooftops. On the rooftop terrace, a pool at 20 meters height provides a panorama over the city.
The rooms are equipped with materials such as wood, brass, and stone. They also feature modern bathrooms and specially designed desks with printing services. The café bar offers breakfast, fine snacks, and a selection of wines. Surrounded by artworks, the bar becomes a meeting place for hotel guests and visitors from Graz.
