High above everyday life, at an altitude of 950 m, lies a lovingly preserved farmhouse with around 100 years of history – nestled in the gentle hills of the Lipizzaner homeland, with a wide view over the surrounding regions. Surrounded by fresh mountain air, blooming meadows, and rustling forests, this special refuge offers the ideal starting point for hikes to nearby alpine pastures and hidden power spots.
Inside, there is a spacious kitchen-living room with satellite TV, three cozy bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower and toilet – a place to arrive and feel at home. In the garden, a small playground brings laughter for children, while the barbecue area in front of the house invites you to linger outdoors.
Right next door, the forest begins – a paradise for hiking, berry and mushroom picking, or simply to unwind. Those wanting to go higher can enjoy the impressive landscape of Western Styria from the air while paragliding in the nearby village.
For relaxation after an active day, the nearby Therme Nova invites you with soothing warmth. Not far away lies the world-renowned Lipizzaner stud in Piber – home to the noble white horses and a proud part of Austrian cultural history.

Arrival by car:
Via the A2 - Exit Mooskirchen - continue towards Köflach. In Köflach, turn right at the first traffic light-controlled intersection - towards Gaberl. Continue straight in Krenhof (follow the signpost "Bergwirt") - after about 500 m, turn left - again follow the indication "Bergwirt". Drive up the mountain road for about 4 km - at the intersection of the sign "FERIENHAUS", turn right - the first house on the left side is the destination.
Alternatively via the A10 - Tauern Tunnel - Exit St. Michael - continue through Tamsweg, Murau, Judenburg, Gaberl, and Salla until Krenhof. There, turn left (towards "Bergwirt") - after about 500 m, turn left again - follow the mountain road for about 4 km - at the intersection of the signage "FERIENWOHNUNG", turn right - first house on the left side.
