Information
Our self-catering mountain chalet “Kochhube“ 1300 meters is right next to the sport region Salzstiegl where you can ski and toboggan in winter and do archery, downhill scooting and off road biking in summer. Kochhube is an almost 100 year old farm house with a cosy interior and a wood stove in the kitchen. The heating of the whole house is wood based and a 200l boiler makes long, hot showers possible. The Alpine farmhouse parlour is equipped with cooking utensils and dishes for 15 people. The cabin is in a quiet, detached location but still right next to the street. Via the street it’s one minute by car and ten minutes by foot from sport region Salzstiegl.
A little paradise awaits you! In summer the cabin is the optimal place for families, nature lovers, mushroom pickers and other small groups from 8-15 people. In Winter it’s perfect for skiing, tobogganing and other winter sport enthusiasts as well as groups or families of any kind from 8-15 people. At *** Moasterhaus one minute per car and ten minutes on foot from the hut you can have a nice meal, go bowling or join the sports programme doing archery, downhill scooting, bungee trampoline jumping or climbing.

Contact & Directions
From Graz - ca. 59 km - 1 hour
take the South highway A2 to Klagenfurt till the exit Modriach. Just follow the sign Hirschegg/Salzstiegl 22 km. Then in Hirschegg take a right turn to Salzstiegl (9 km)
From north Styria - ca. 30 km – 30 min
from Zeltweg west (follow the sign "Gaberl" ) til Weißkirchen after that to Gaberl/Köflach til Großfeistritz. In Großfeistritz you need to make a right turn to Klein-feistritz at the chapel. In Kleinfeistritz take another right turn to Salzstiegl (there is a sign). Follow the road (about 7 km) then there will be a crushed stone road till Salzstiegl. Then you need to drive down the hill (about 2 km) and there you are.
