What guests can look forward to

In the north of the Graz region, the name says it all: In WEINitzen, whose name is derived from the Slovenian “vinica” (vineyard), viticulture is still practiced today. Excellent products are made here from the delicious grapes.

The Weinitzen weather tower in the Niederschöckl district is the middle of three weather towers, which are arranged in an almost straight line. The other two towers are located in Kainbach and St. Radegund near Graz. The 15 meter high tower bears the engraved date 1824 and used to herald storms. Today, the bells ring out on joyous occasions such as births and weddings.
