The Sonnenloipe on the Pöllauer Höhe is a wonderful cross-country ski trail in winter for the classic and skating style at the foot of the Greim.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here and drive towards Murau. In Katsch in der Mur keep right again and drive to St. Peter am Kammersberg. Here turn right again and drive to Pöllau am Greim.
Coming from Tamsweg, drive via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur) to Murau. Keep left here and drive via Schöder to St. Peter am Kammersberg. In St. Peter am Kammersberg turn left again and drive to Pöllau am Greim.
A few meters from the intersection on the Pöllauer Höhe in the direction of Kammersberg, you get on the cross-country ski trail and come straight into a loop. When you leave the circuit you drive towards a piece of forest, which you then cross. Then you come back to a beautiful, open, snow-covered meadow, which also has a circular run! You can return to the starting point via the same cross-country ski trail.
