The Knoppenmoos cross-country ski trail is part of the Salzkammergut cross-country ski trails, which cover more than 200 km.

The trail starts directly at Jausenstation Stieger, where free parking is also available. From there, it leads through Mühlreith and Knoppen. In some sections, separate tracks are prepared for classic and skating styles, ensuring optimal conditions for both techniques.

The Digitale Loipenkarte is available on the website of the Ausseerland Salzkammergut Tourist Association. Ski pass prices can be found at – www.loipenticket.at. It is best to plan your journey to Bad Mitterndorf with google.at/maps.

The loop starts at the Stieger snack station and leads across wide meadows through the center of Mühlreith, Heimreith and Knoppen. The classic and skating tracks separate in places.

Operating hours: daily from 08:30 - 17:00

Parking is available directly at the entry point at the Jausenstation Stieger.
