This HWW hiking route is part of the Wechselland Historical Long-Distance Hiking Trail (HWW), which tells the story of Wechselland along more than 100 HWW stations. More information can be found at www.wechsel-wandern.at.
This HWW hiking route leads from Zöbern to the Hartberg and on to Mönichkirchen and Niederwechsel to the Wetterkoglerhaus on the Hochwechsel. This HWW route also leads over the so-called Steinerne Stiege. The history of stones, i.e. the geology of Wechselland, is explained at the Stoa-Alm HWW station. Wechselland also stands out geologically from its surroundings, details can be found at this HWW station.

Arrival by car
- Drive along the A2 highway to the Zöbern exit.
- Then follow the signs to Zöbern.
The tour is not signposted throughout. Route guidance with app recommended.
