This HWW cycle route is part of the Wechselland Historical Long-Distance Hiking Trail (HWW), which tells the story of Wechselland along more than 100 HWW stations. More information can be found at www.wechsel-wandern.at.

This HWW cycle route leads from Dechantskirchen via Ehrenschachen to Sinnersdorf. Along the HWW cycle route, you come to the HWW station Mindlgraben, where you can learn about the history of the Roma, who settled in the border region to Wechselland for centuries and were mostly murdered in 1938 during the Nazi era.

Directions - By car

Take the A2 highway to the Pinggau exit.
Take the 3rd exit at the traffic circle.
Continue along the B63.
At the junction, turn onto the B54 in the direction of Graz/Hartberg.
Then turn right in the direction of Dechantskirchen.

The tour is not signposted throughout. Route guidance with app recommended.

Near the route, it is worth making a detour to Thalburg Castle, which can be visited from the outside. There is an interesting information board at the entrance gate with fascinating details about the castle.
