Cycling from alp to alp. A fantastic e-bike tour starting from Gasthof Altenbergerhof in Altenberg/Rax (e-bike rental and charging station) up to the Schneealm, ending at the Lurgbauerhütte organic alpine cheese dairy. A stunning landscape and a beautiful alpine world.

Starting from Gasthof Altenbergerhof in the Altenberg an der Rax district, where both an e-bike charging station and rental service are available, we embark on a scenic e-bike tour to the Schneealm.

We follow the main road towards Kapellen until we reach the right turn towards Hanslgraber. From there, we stay on the marked BergRadlRunde Urani until we reach the toll road to Kohlebnerstand. Here, we turn right, following the forest road past the parking area, continuing until we reach the Schneealm plateau.

For those in need of refreshment, a detour to the Schneealpenhaus is an option. The final destination of this stage is the Lurgbauerhütte organic alpine dairy, where culinary specialties and homemade cheeses await as a well-earned reward.

The return route follows the same path back.
